| *tear*tear* Yesterday was the last day of school. I cannot believe how blurry this entire ride has been. Sure, we've had our fights and falling-outs, but we always forgave, forgot, and came together again. I'm gonna miss each and every one of you guys (you know who you are). Well, in case you don't know, I'm dedicating this entire entry to you. Let's begin, shall we?
Linda, Linda, and Danlinda. . .okay, this is getting me confused. I'll do this in alphabetical order. Linda C, you've been a sweetheart. I know I've snapped at you for nudging, punching, sitting on, and touching me, but you've been incredibly nice through everything else. You're a bit crazy, but so am I. Lol. . .I hope you have a great summer, and get yourself a boyfriend that's better than Bally. Lol. . .best wishes
Let's see who's next. . .Danlinda a.k.a. Roses. As much as I adore the other two, I'd have to say you're the nicest. You're funny, cool, and outgoing - basically the total opposite of me. Lol. . .I have no bad words for you. I had a lot of fun working with you on the Craft Project for English Class. I also learned how to sew because of you. Lol. . .lots of love to ya, babe.
That's two Lindas. . .I guess that leaves me with one: Linda Y. a.k.a. the Reason. You've been great this entire year. I come up with jokes that make no sense, because I know you'll always laugh at them. Lol. . .you're kinda messed up in the head, but I adore ya. Life would be pretty boring if the Reason weren't around. :D
That's that for the Lindas. Moving onto a certain perfect lady named Denise. . .lol. You are the kindest, nicest, smartest person I know. I get the biggest laughs from talking to you. As annoying, loquacious, and Gary Oldman-obsessed I've been around you, you were always really patient with me and just nodded along. For that, I owe you many thanks :D. You are my ally; you're the Brutus to my Cassius. I adore ya, Denise. I absolutely mean it when I say this - you are quite possibly the most wonderful person I've ever known.
Melody, o Melody. . .it's been some year, hasn't it? I know we've had some not-so-great moments, but we got through them. Sitting next to you in English Class, we get to pass a lot of jokes back and forth. We've had some pretty good times. Believe it or not, I'm gonna miss having you around for two months. Have a great vacation, babe.
Let's see. . .another good friend of mine would have to be Judy. You're really quiet a lot, but you can say some funny things when I get you to talk. In my opinion, you're a really generous person for letting us hoboes into your house. Lol. . .you rock and I hope you're just as great in the eigth grade.
There's somebody who's been way too good to me this last year: Alex. I have mistreated you, put you through silent treatments, and literally kicked your ass a couple of times, and yet, you're still my friend. You've never done anything really bad to me, but I tend to hold grudges and have anger management problems. Lol. . .no one makes me laugh quite like you do. You're an amazing person, and I apologize for whatever wrongs I caused you. Don't forget to listen to Pink Floyd over the summer. . .otherwise, I'll have to kill you. Lol. . .you know I have nothing against you.
Hmmm. . .I guess that leaves me with three people, two of whom have been my best friends since the sixth grade. First off is someone who shares my name: Jennifer. This past year, we've really become great friends. You were always there for me when I needed someone the most. When I got into a fight with Megan and Joanna, you were the one who comforted me. Jennifer, I've never really appreciated your friendship until I thought about it. I owe you more thanks than I can fit into one little entry, but I might as well start: thank you :)
Anyone who knows me knows that I constantly hang out with two very unique people: Megan and Joanna. Joanna, you are the sweetest, most innocent, and absolutely pure-hearted person I know. You like to annoy and deride me, and most of the time, it works. I know we bicker way too much, but my life would be so dull without you. You are understanding and forgiving. . .you can never stay mad at me. I'm not sure I ever deserved such kind treatment from you, considering some of the things I've done and/or said. When our first year at McKinley was over, you were the one with whom I cried. I am an ill-tempered person with an unusually thick head. Lol. . .I'm glad that we clash so much, because it makes me realize how wrong I can be. I am grateful to have a best friend like you, to stay with me through the good and the bad. Simply put: ya kick ass.
So, that's one best friend. . .that means it's time for the other: Megan. As much as I love talking to Joanna, there's no one I'd rather confide in than you. You are my partner in crime. . .I am in stitches after hanging out with you. I think you're the greatest friend I've ever known. There's really no way to put this, but you just understand me. We laugh at the same things, and say them at the same time, too. You keep me grounded, and deflate my head when it gets too big (it's already huge, but you know what I mean). Megan, you're easy-going, funny, and even-tempered. I'm forceful, quick-tempered, and have a wry, darker sense of humor. Somehow, that works. I would be going crazy if you weren't there to smack my head into reality. Like I said before, you're my partner in crime. I would get into trouble on purpose, if I knew you were coming with me. Lol. . .ya know what I mean.
Okay, okay. . .so that was a really long entry. If I didn't mention you, just tell me so. . .I'll probably add you soon. Well, we've had some incredible journey since we first stepped into Miss Mandiberg's classroom. I love you guys. . .we've become such a tight-knit group at this point. It's hard to imagine that we'll break apart after the Eighth Grade. . .so I won't. Well, there's not really a way to end this entry. . .so I might as well put up some lyrics from really sad songs. Enjoy. . . .

Excerpt from "Full Circle" by Aerosmith
Time Don't let it slip away Raise yo drinkin' glass Here's to yesterday
"Yesterday" by the Beatles
Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away Now it looks as though they’re here to stay Oh, I believe in yesterday.
Suddenly, I’m not half the man I used to be, There’s a shadow hanging over me. Oh, yesterday came suddenly.
Why she had to go I don’t know she woldn’t say. I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday.
Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play. Now I need a place to hide away. Oh, I believe in yesterday.
Mm mm mm mm mm.
"Dust In the Wind" by Kansas
I close my eyes only for a moment and the moment's gone all my dreams pass before my eyes a curiosity dust in the wind All they are is dust in the wind
Same old song just a drop of water in an endless sea all we do crumbles to the ground though we refuse to see dust in the wind all we are is dust in the wind
Now, don´t hang on nothing last forever, but the earth and sky, it slips away And all your money won`t another minute buy
Dust in the wind all we are is dust in the wind dust in the wind everything is dust in the wind dust in the wind everything is dust in the wind
"Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd
So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell, blue skies from pain. Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil? Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you trade your heroes for ghosts? Hot ashes for trees? Hot air for a cool breeze? Cold comfort for change? And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year, running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears, wish you were here.
"Help"by the Beatles
Help, I need somebody, Help, not just anybody, Help, you know I need someone, help.
When I was younger, so much younger than today, I never needed anybody's help in any way. But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured, Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors.
Help me if you can, I'm feeling down And I do appreciate you being round. Help me, get my feet back on the ground, Won't you please, please help me?
And now my life has changed in oh so many ways, My independence seems to vanish in the haze. But every now and then I feel so insecure, I know that I just need you like I've never done before.
Help me if you can, I'm feeling down And I do appreciate you being round. Help me, get my feet back on the ground, Won't you please, please help me.
When I was younger, so much younger than today, I never needed anybody's help in any way. But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured, Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors.
Help me if you can, I'm feeling down And I do appreciate you being round. Help me, get my feet back on the ground, Won't you please, please help me, help me, help me, oh.
"Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" by Green Day
Another turning point a fork stuck in the road Time grabs you by the wrist directs you where to go, So make the best of this test and don't ask why, It's not a question but a lesson learned in time,
(chorus) It's something unpredictable but in the end it's right i hope you had the time of your life.
So take the photographs and still frames in your mind Hang it on a shelf in good health and good time, Tattoos and memories of skin on trial For what it's worth, it was worth all the while.
(chorus) It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right I hope you had the time of your life
(chorus) It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right I hope you had the time of your life
